Nine new members have been voted onto isla’s advisory board
with the ambition of strengthening expert, cross-sector input across all
activities.
The additional board members are:

● Stewart
Green, associate director - Xquisite Productions
Made up of both isla members and non-members, the new
appointees represent a spectrum of events-industry stakeholders from agencies,
exhibition organisers and venues to caterers and industry media.
The new advisory board members join founding board members:
Carina Filek, global COO at Elevate and Saskya Liney, account director and head
of sustainability at emc3. The board will shape the direction of the isla
community to 2024.
Anna Abdelnoor, isla co-founder, said: “isla’s membership
base is growing steadily and our expanded advisory board will ensure that we
best represent the interests of our community and the wider industry, to create
a united voice for change. Against the backdrop of COP27 and a growing appetite
for turning climate conversations into solutions, we’re excited to harness the
combined expertise and energy of the advisory board.”
Advisory board chair and managing director of Freeman EMEA, Jason

across the wider events industry.”
A desire to travel led Holly Patrick to the business meetings and events world and she’s never looked back. Holly takes a particular interest in event sustainability and creating a diverse and inclusive industry. When she’s not working, she can be found rolling skating along Brighton seafront listening to an eclectic playlist, featuring the likes of Patti Smith, Sean Paul, and Arooj Aftab.
