Final call for entries for Tomorrow's Talent 2023

The final call has gone out for entries for this year’s Tomorrow's Talent, The Meetings Show's initiative that aims to identify and support the next generation of event professionals.

Anybody interested is encouraged to submit a nomination before applications close on Friday 27 January. You can nominate yourself or a colleague, providing the nominee: is based in the UK, holds a full-time position as a meeting or events planner/buyer, and is aged 30 or under or has only worked in the industry for up to three years.

Jack Marczewski, event director ofThe Meetings Show, said: "The scheme offers a unique opportunity for young professionals to gain valuable experience and exposure in the events industry, as well as the chance to network with industry leaders, so I highly recommend you take advantage of this programme, whether it's for you or someone you know. 

“Each entrant will be assessed by our panel of expert judges: Leigh Cowlishaw, Paul Harvey, Patrick Delaney, Priya Narain, Gabby Austen-Browne, and Gracia Kabongo (a previous Tomorrow's Talent winner), with the 10 lucky winners being announced in March.”

The nomination process

Planners can either nominate themselves OR be nominated by an industry friend or colleague. Nominations can be made in writing OR via video submission.

To qualify, the nominee must:

  • Be based in the UK
  • Hold a full-time position as a meeting or events planner/buyer
  • Be aged 30 or under OR have only worked for up to three years in the industry

The prize

  • Celebratory lunch
  • Personal profiling opportunities through M&IT and The Meetings Show
  • VIP attendance at The Meetings Show
  • The opportunity to participate in a future talent-themed education session at The Meetings Show
  • The opportunity to join The Meetings Show Advisory Board meetings

   You have until Friday 27 January to submit your nomination.
