M&IT editor Paul Harvey has won the Blogger/Columnist of
the Year award at the Business Travel Journalism Awards (BTJAs).
The award was for the Trade Show Vegan series, which has seen Harvey go vegan for the duration of every trade show he has attended in 2023. Judges praised the blog for touching on themes of sustainability, inclusivity and wellness.
Curated and administered by CWT, the awards in 12 categories were presented at an exclusive ceremony in the White Tower at The Tower of London hosted by Chris Fitchew and attended by journalists and industry professionals.
Over the last 20 years, the BTJAs have become a symbol of recognition for journalists who have displayed exceptional skills, insights, and dedication in reporting on the ever-evolving landscape of business travel.
The BTJAs are open to journalists, freelancers, editorial teams and editors across all media formats globally and winners are selected by a judging panel of industry experts, business owners and respected journalists.

Other Northstar winners at the event included BTN Europe's Andy Hoskins and Amon Cohen, who won Editor of the Year and Features Journalist of the Year - Sustainability respectively.
