Beam has appointed three new directors as it aims to drive the association's growth and strategic vision.

Tracy Winsworth, MD of Trinity Event Solutions, has taken on the role of commercial director alongside Ben Hioco. Their focus will be on building strategic relationships that enable the industry to collaborate more effectively with key partners, developing best practices, with the intention of supporting beam members in achieving their business objectives.

"I am excited to step into the role of commercial director at beam," said Winsworth. "Our aim is to establish meaningful partnerships that will enhance the collective strength of the industry whilst providing direct value to our members. We want to ensure they are equipped with the best resources and opportunities for growth."

Joining the board as a marketing director is Ben Hull, MD at Bright Vision Events, who will take on a joint role working with the marketing action group and agency engagement group. Hull will focus on strengthening beam’s identity further and assist in broadening the association's appeal to a wider audience of agents.

"Beam is an incredible association with a strong legacy, and I am eager to build upon its established identity," commented Ben Hull. "By reinforcing who we are and what we stand for, we can elevate our presence within the industry and create even greater engagement and value for our members."

Finally, Kieron Bowen, sales director at Eventurous, will assume the responsibilities of ESG director, working with partners to strengthen beam’s sustainability proposition and ensure ESG remains at the forefront of the association’s agenda.

"Sustainability and responsible business practices are now critical considerations for our industry," said Bowen. "I am passionate about working closely with our members and partners to create meaningful ESG strategies that support long-term industry resilience and positive change."

Each director is supported by a dedicated action group, consisting of volunteers representing beam's membership.

Louisa Watson, chair of beam, said: "Beam’s strength lies in its ability to represent the collective voice of our diverse membership, and our board appointments reflect this. With leadership spanning agencies, suppliers, and venues, we are well positioned to support the evolving needs of our industry. We look forward to working together to drive significant progress, ensuring beam remains a dynamic and influential force."
