Event technology provider FFAIR has appointed Sarah Hamon Watt as business development manager as it continues to expand its presence.

Hamon Watt joins the company's sales and marketing team, where she will focus on developing relationships with exhibition organisers, associations and event agencies.

She joins FFAIR from SME lender iwoca, where she was broker event and marketing manager, leading the company's marketing and events strategy. Prior to that, she was head of events and logistics at Heart Centred Business, overseeing the delivery of more than 120 conferences and webinars for global audiences.

Adam Jones, chief executive of FFAIR, said: "When hiring at FFAIR, we believe in hiring those who understand events and the challenges facing our customers. Sarah's background means she's able to have real empathy with event professionals having been at the coalface of delivering events herself. Her expertise bolsters our own decades of industry experience, and we're looking forward to seeing the impact she'll have as we continue to grow."

FFAIR said the appointment comes as the business continues to grow its exhibitor and sponsorship management platform, which is now used by more than 300 event teams worldwide each year.
