ICC Wales has appointed Craig Bingham managing director to
help drive growth at the Newport venue.
Bingham joins from Wyndham Hotels, where he was head of global
sales and sales operations EMEA. He previously worked at several venues,
including the QEII Centre, Hilton Metropole and Eastside Rooms in Birmingham.
In his new role, Bingham is responsible for managing the operational
and sales teams, driving business growth, and helping to shape future strategy.
Julie Hammond, who joined ICC Wales and The Celtic
Collection as CEO earlier this year, said: “Craig’s appointment comes at an
exciting time for ICC Wales. With his extensive experience across leading
venues and international hospitality brands, he will play a pivotal role in
driving innovation, enhancing our service offering, and ensuring every event we
host meets the highest standards of excellence.”
Bingham said he looked forward to working with the ICC Wales team and ‘expanding ICC Wales’
presence in the global business events market.’
