The shortlist for the annual Business Travel Journalism
Awards (BTJAs) 2023 has been revealed, with publications and journalists from
the Northstar Meetings Group UK portfolio racking up several nominations.
Paul Harvey, editor of Meetings & Incentive Travel (M&IT)
has been nominated for Blogger/Columnist of the Year, alongside colleague and
editorial director of Northstar Meetings Group UK and editor of Association Meetings
International (AMI), James Lancaster.
Shawna McKinley, AMI's resident sustainability expert has
also been shortlisted in the Blogger/Columnist category.
Lancaster also scooped a nomination in the Editor of the Year category, while both M&IT and AMI have been jointly shortlisted in the Editorial Team of the Year category.
Harvey is also in the running to win Features Journalist of
the Year in the destination category.

& Events Journalist of the Year category.
Around 150 entries from all over the world were received for
this year’s awards. For each of the 12 categories a maximum of five
journalists/editors and/or editorial teams have been nominated.
The winners will be announced at an exclusive live event on
Wednesday 29 November at The Tower of London.
