Event tech firm One World Rental has appointed Cat Kevern as chief marketing officer, as it kicks off 2025 with continued international growth.

Kevern, director of NOWIE (Network of Women in Events) and Electric Cat Productions, has been tasked with spearheading a new marketing strategy and driving brand visibility on a global scale.

“What drew me to OWR is their unwavering commitment, not just to their clients but also to their incredible team. They’re ambitious, driven, and growing at an incredible pace. Most importantly, they’re not afraid to say yes to bold ideas. As someone who loves challenging the status quo and embracing innovation, I knew this was the perfect fit,” said Kevern.

The wider team at One World Rental continues to grow, with more than 20 new hires joining the company in the past 90 days across 10 One World rental offices. Other positions include Alex Collins who has been appointed as sales manager at the London HQ and Robert Groller as senior sales account manager in the US.

With the recent launch of One World Staffing, the company has expanded its portfolio of services to include tailored technical staffing solutions that complement its existing offerings.

In a significant move, One World Rental has purchased its 2,700 sqm premises in London to support its growing operations and strengthen its local presence. Additionally, the company has expanded its European operations with the opening of a new branch in Rotterdam, Netherlands, further cementing its presence in the EU market.

“These expansions are a testament to our commitment to serving clients at the highest level, no matter where they are in the world,” said Kashif Din, CEO and founder of One World Rental. “We’re not just growing; we’re strategically building a global network that ensures innovation and excellence are always within reach for our clients.”

This strategic location in Rotterdam enables One World Rental to enhance service delivery across Europe, offering clients faster, more efficient access to cutting-edge event technology, while reducing carbon footprint at the same time.

The company is also celebrating a major milestone as 2025 marks 15 years since the business was set up. Since its establishment in 2010, the company has grown exponentially, now operating around the world at hallmark events.

The international outlook continues with plans to exhibit at major industry events in 2025 across the UAE, USA, and UK, further solidifying One World Rental's reputation as an industry leader.
