Deborah Crosswell and Joe O’Connell
have taken over as co-presidents of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence Great Britain Chapter (SITE GB).
Crosswell and O’Connell succeed Anthony Kelly and Leigh
Butterfield, who have led the GB Chapter for the past two years and will remain
on the board as immediate past presidents, alongside existing board members
Fiona McGrory, Lisa Lernoux-Dock, Amanda Pelvay, Max Simpkins, Lois Wallis and
Ashton Kelly.
They are joined by newly appointed board members Andre Van
Der Bijl, joint managing partner at Mundus Representation, Charla Forinton, director
of global sales – groups, Rocco Forte Hotels, and Susie Harwood, editor of
micebook and freelance journalist.
Crosswell and O’Connell commented: “SITE GB is all about
creating a space where members and the wider incentive travel sector can grow,
collaborate, and achieve their goals while contributing to the continued
success of our industry. Over the past few years, our chapter has built a
strong foundation of success, and now with our strengthened board, we’re ready
to take it even further and expand our reach and membership.”
They continued: “This year, we’re looking forward to
delivering even more impactful events, inspiring education sessions, and
unforgettable networking opportunities. We’re excited to bring back the
flagship SITE GB Incentive Summit and launch a brand-new series of Supper Clubs
and wellness events throughout the year, to run alongside the flagship Summer
Soiree and Christmas Lunch.”
SITE GB Events
The first wellness event of the year – a Puppy Yoga session
at The Rosewood London on 30 January, proved a success. The inaugural SITE GB
Supper Club will take place at 1 Hotel Mayfair on 19 February, with a focus on
sustainability and CSR in incentive travel.
The Supper Club series will provide a unique opportunity to
connect with industry thought leaders, share fresh ideas, and spark meaningful
discussions in the key trends impacting incentive travel. Stay tuned to
