M&IT editor Paul Harvey said: “The M&IT Awards has
held a special place in the meetings and events calendar for more than three
decades – it is no wonder people think of it as the Oscars of the industry.
“Brought to you by Northstar Meetings Group, the M&IT
Awards brings together more industry professionals than any other awards event
to recognise the phenomenal people that drive this wonderful industry forward.
“Food, drink, dancing, live entertainment, we have it all,
but most importantly this night will give you a chance to connect with friends
and colleagues and celebrate their amazing achievements. It's time to get
voting and canvassing!”
Full rules around voting and canvassing for votes are

The 2022 M&IT Awards saw the industry come together at an
emotional time as the nation mourned the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. There was a minute's silence led by M&IT Editor Paul
Harvey before the evening’s host Ore
Oduba took to the stage to kick off proceedings.
Lisa Lernoux-Dock of Iconic Luxury Hotels took home the
Personality of the Year award while Dublin came up double trumps with the Dublin
Convention Bureau taking gold in the Best Overseas Convention Bureau category
and The Convention Centre Dublin winning gold in the Best Overseas Conference
Centre category.
