Full-service event collective asembl.group has reported a £37.5 million turnover in its first full year of operation, following the successful delivery of more than 300 projects across 35 countries.
The group, made up of nine independent specialist agencies and more than 120 professionals, was founded to challenge what it describes as the events industry’s “fragmented approach” to supplier relationships. By uniting multiple agencies under one transparent, collaborative framework, asembl.group says it has created a new model for delivering complex global events more efficiently.
CEO and co-founder Gavin Farley said: “To see the group expand and grow in the way it has over the last year has been something I honestly couldn't have dreamt up any better.”
The group’s agencies have collaborated on a range of global projects, including four flagship brand experiences, combining expertise across creative strategy, logistics, production, and digital solutions. Its integrated approach is designed to remove some of the biggest pain points in event delivery, including inconsistent communication, quality gaps, budget complications, and coordination challenges across multiple suppliers.
Jack Lamacraft, co-founder and global managing director of The Park, said: “For our clients, the real value lies in knowing they're working with genuine experts. Looking ahead, I see huge potential for the group; it's only going to go from strength to strength as more clients experience the collective power of what we can offer together.”
Jody Milton, co-founder and CEO of Formation Global, added: “What was needed was a transparent, honest partnership between agency and client... one that removes barriers and limitations, and fosters genuine collaboration. No hidden obstacles. No silos. Just an open, holistic strategy that delivers fully coordinated results.”
The group’s collaborative model has supported event delivery on a wide scale – from 450-person executive gatherings to global conferences of over 3,000 attendees.
Asembl.group said key benefits for event planners include streamlined project management through a single point of contact, consistent quality across global locations, and improved ROI through the elimination of multiple supplier mark-ups.
With its first-year performance and growing client demand, asembl.group has positioned itself as a major new player in the sector, with ambitions to continue expanding internationally and “setting new standards” for integrated event partnerships.
