Creative communications group DRPG has increased its London
footprint with the acquisition of a new office in Soho.
The new site in Dean Street will become the company’s London
headquarters where it will house a growing number of media services and offer
clients creative and production spaces.
DRPG, which marks its 45th year in business this
year, will refurbish the new office space, adding bespoke edit suites, a screening
room, meeting lounges and production floors. Work is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Under plans, all London-based events, digital and creative
teams will operate from the Dean Street HQ. DRPG’s global head office will
remain at Studio 212, in Worcestershire.
The move follows a threefold expansion of DRPG’s Manchester office
space to accommodate its growing team in the north of England and comes as the business
hits its full-year revenue target of £60m.
DRPG CEO Dale Parmenter said the agency was bucking the trend to scale back investment and expansion while the economy struggled and instead was moving ‘decisively’
forward with its expansion and infrastructure investment.
He said: “Despite the UK’s business challenges and global
uncertainty we’ve had a phenomenal year. In our 45th year of business we’ve hit
our revenue target early, however margins are extremely challenging.
"We’ve
grown our offer in the right areas and stayed true to who we are. We’re in a
strong position and building from it; not just to grow, but to grow in the
right way globally, putting service, quality and creativity at the heart of
everything we do, this is just the beginning, watch this space.”
