Specialist B2B marketing agency Electric Cat Productions has marked the start of 2025 with a series of new developments, including team growth, expanded service offerings, accreditations, and the launch of a new industry resourc

Electric Cat has welcomed presenter and marketing professional Stephanie Garey to the team. With more than 15 years of experience in marketing, event management, and live presenting, Garey brings expertise in event moderation, emceeing and content delivery, enabling Electric Cat to offer professional emcee and moderator services, as well as on-the-ground content support including street interviews and vox pops.

“I’ve absolutely loved working with the Electric Cat team the last few months.” said Stephanie Garey. “Their industry insight and network is incredible, and it’s been a pleasure to support them with event hosting, podcast production and managing social media for some super cool clients. I can’t wait to see what’s next!”

The agency has also formalised its photography service offering with freelance photographer Mads Pierce. With previous clients including FFAIR, NOWIE and several industry shows, Pierce specialises in event photography, team headshots and brand-led visual content.

In addition, Electric Cat now offers podcast production and editing services. Both Garey and Pierce contribute to The Neon Lounge, Electric Cat’s own industry podcast.

Values and advocacy

Electric Cat Productions has begun 2025 by doubling down on its core values of fairness, safety and inclusion. The agency recently secured accreditation from the Living Wage Foundation, affirming its commitment to paying all freelancers and staff fairly and on time. As a self-funded, female-led business, Electric Cat is proud to prioritise ethical and transparent practices.

Founder Cat Kevern said: “As a self-funded business with no investors, we know firsthand the challenge of balancing rising operational costs and high overheads, but we also know the value in our people and are really proud that we can confidently say our team members are always properly remunerated for their time, talent and expertise.

“This accreditation is just another step in solidifying our values and we look forward to continuing to grow as a business and a team in years to come.”

Alongside this accreditation, Kevern has also been appointed an official Ambassador for Ask for Angela – a national campaign that helps people who feel unsafe or vulnerable access discreet support in social settings. With a long-standing track record of championing wellbeing and equity in the events space, Kevern aims to use this new role to raise awareness and encourage safer, more inclusive event environments.

New resource

To support professionals across the events industry, Electric Cat has launched a free-to-access Events and Awards Calendar. Designed as a one-stop-shop resource, the calendar compiles key dates for awards submissions and event attendance across the UK, Europe, and the US. This initiative aims to help organisations plan proactively and seize opportunities for recognition and networking.

The Events and Awards Calendar is now available via the Electric Cat website: www.electriccat.co. The agency also offers a tailored award submission support service for those seeking a more hands-on approach.
