Identity has launched Identity Health, a dedicated healthcare experience practice building on the specialist healthcare meetings and events expertise of IdentityCoda.
The new practice will work across Europe, the US, GCC and APAC, with its offer extending beyond meetings and events into congresses and expos, healthcare content, and healthcare strategy and consulting.
Jo Hull, director of Identity Health, said the launch reflected the pace of change across the healthcare sector.
“Healthcare is where the energy is right now. New therapies reaching patients faster than anyone predicted, diagnostics that used to take weeks now taking minutes. That's not a reason to treat this work as an afterthought. It's a reason to give it the same rigour, and the same heart, that goes into the science itself.”
Hull said the opportunity extended beyond scientific developments to how they are communicated and experienced.
“We're living through a Golden Age of Science. Discovery compounding on discovery. And it's arriving at exactly the same moment as a Golden Age of Experience, where brands, events and storytelling have never been more sophisticated. Put those two things next to each other and you get something rare: science that moves fast enough to matter, paired with the craft to make people actually feel it, not just read about it in a journal nobody outside the field will open. That's the opportunity in front of Identity Health.”
Identity group CEO Michael Gietzen said experience was becoming increasingly important in determining how healthcare developments are understood and acted upon.
“We're in a Golden Age of Experience. That's not a supporting act to the science, it's the thing that decides whether the science lands at all. Our job is to take that paper and bring it to life, make it felt in a room, a conversation, a decision someone makes because they finally understood it. Identity Health exists because experience is how healthcare actually reaches people, and we believe in that enough to build a practice around it.”
The practice will operate across four areas.
Meetings and events, delivered through IdentityCoda, will cover advisory boards, leadership meetings, product launches, symposia, roundtables and stakeholder meetings.
Congress and expos will focus on larger-scale exhibitions and congresses, while healthcare content will focus on translating clinical developments into communications for patients, clinicians and workplace audiences.
The fourth area, healthcare strategy and consulting, will provide positioning, planning and evidence-led advice to inform meetings, congresses and content.
Hull said the four areas were intended to operate as a connected offer rather than separate services.
“A pharma launch and a wellness campaign are talking to the same person. Both are trying to earn the same trust. Wellness isn't the lifestyle category sitting next to healthcare. It's healthcare, working quietly, long before anyone notices it's there. We wanted a practice built to speak to all of it, not just the diagnosis.”
Identity Health launches with client work already underway across pharma, biotech, wellness brands and health employers. The company also plans to recruit additional specialist talent over the coming months.
