Parallel Blue Global (PBG) has appointed Mark Harsant as managing director as part of a planned leadership transition.
Harsant succeeds Paul Martin, who will move into the newly created role of executive chairman while continuing as owner of the business.
The move forms part of the company's succession planning strategy as it looks to support its next phase of growth after 35 years in business.
Martin said: "This is a significant milestone for PBG and one that has been carefully planned. Having led the business for many years, I believe now is the right time to hand over the reins and allow the next generation of leadership to take PBG forward."
He added: "Mark's appointment is a reflection of the incredible contribution he has made to our success. Throughout his time with the business, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, deep industry knowledge, a strong network of relationships and an unwavering commitment to our people, clients and values."
Martin will remain actively involved in the business, working alongside Harsant to deliver its strategic plans and represent PBG externally.
"While I am stepping aside from the role of managing director, I am certainly not stepping away from the business," he said. "As executive chairman and owner, I will continue to work closely alongside Mark and the wider team, supporting them through the transition and helping to deliver our strategic objectives."
Harsant, who has been with the business for almost 15 years, said he was looking forward to leading the agency into its next chapter.
