Sleek Events has announced the appointment of Josie Klafkowska as its first chief marketing officer, joining the board and senior leadership team as the organisation
enters its next phase of growth.
The hire follows a period of rapid momentum for
Sleek, which has more than doubled in size since 2021, featuring in The Sunday
Times list of fastest-growing private companies this year at number 21 and in
the Business Leader Growth500 List. The organisation is on track to achieve £50
million in revenue by 2026/27, underpinned by strong
ongoing partnerships with major clients such as Adobe, Amazon Web Services,
Bentley, and SLB.
Klafkowska joins Sleek from WPP global advertising
network, VML, where she most recently served as global partner marketing director, driving ecosystem growth alongside technology vendors such as Adobe,
Salesforce, Shopify and Stripe. Her 20-year career spans advertising, martech,
and experiential marketing, during which she has held various leadership roles
across global networks and independent agencies.
Sleek Events founder and CEO Jennifer Davidson said: “Josie’s arrival marks a real milestone for us.

The appointment comes at a time of evolution and
opportunity across the events and experiential industry. While the market
continues to adjust following a wave of mergers, acquisitions and
restructuring, global forecasts predict significant growth in the years
