The EC Group, the international brand experience group behind creative experience agency Event Concept, has acquired B2B brand experience agency Ivory Worldwide.
With teams in the UK, Europe and the US, the acquisition aims to expand the group’s ability to design and deliver complex global programmes that connect brands and audiences in more powerful ways.
Each agency will continue to operate under its existing leadership and brands, while leveraging expanded capabilities and capacity - covering strategy, creative, content, digital AI innovation, technical production, fabrication and live execution under one roof.
“This partnership represents the perfect alchemy of creative strategy and technical mastery,” said Mark Beaver, founder of The EC Group. “By uniting Ivory’s renowned reputation for B2B marketing and brand experience with Event Concept’s long-standing creative and production expertise, we can help clients go further - from intimate moments of connection to large-scale global experiences.”
Event Concept has grown from its specialist production roots into a creative experience agency delivering distinctive live, hybrid and digital experiences for global brands. It's a long-standing preferred supplier to some of London’s most prestigious cultural institutions, including the Natural History Museum and the V&A.
Building on Event Concept’s New York office and Ivory Worldwide’s long-standing presence across Europe and North America, the expanded footprint enables the group to scale while retaining local insight and specialist expertise. More than 200 employees now support a portfolio that includes Intuit, Canva and Twilio via Event Concept, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, The Coca-Cola Company, HP Inc. and Airbus via Ivory Worldwide.
Ivory Worldwide clients will gain access to Event Concept’s in-house production and sustainability teams.
Adam Stanley, MD of The EC Group, added: “The acquisition of Ivory Worldwide is a significant step in our growth journey. It strengthens our strategic and creative agency capability and enhances our ability to deliver truly integrated brand experience programmes for clients across markets.”
Robbie Crittall, founder and chief executive at Ivory Worldwide, said: “Joining The EC Group gives us the scale, infrastructure and in-house expertise to accelerate our growth internationally, while preserving the thinking, craft and exceptional client service that our clients value. Together, we can create even more powerful experiences that connect brands and people in meaningful ways.”
