Mark Spragg has joined BCD Meetings & Events as vice president and head of The Collective, UK, as the agency targets its next phase of growth.
Spragg brings more than 25 years’ experience across the creative, events and communications sectors to the role, including senior positions with TBA Group, Jack Morton Worldwide and WRG Creative Communication.
He will also join the BCD Meetings & Events UK senior leadership team, with responsibility for leading The Collective’s UK team and its growth strategy.
Helen McCabe, managing director, UK, said Spragg’s leadership experience would support the agency’s next stage of development.
“As The Collective continues to grow in the UK, we are thrilled to welcome Mark Spragg to the team,” said McCabe. “Mark’s industry track record speaks for itself - significant experience leading teams through ambitious, high-profile work and a genuine talent for developing the people around him. As we step into our next chapter of growth, we needed someone who could set a bold vision and bring people with them. Mark does both, instinctively. We’re excited to have him leading the UK team.”
Spragg said he was attracted by the foundations already in place at The Collective, which he described as a “best kept secret” in the UK.
“There’s a particular energy that comes from stepping into something with genuinely exceptional foundations. Scale, credentials, world-class clients and most importantly, brilliant people.
“What excites me most, is that in the UK, The Collective has been quietly going about its business - somewhat of a best kept secret. My goal is to change that, to sharpen our profile, accelerate our growth, elevate the experience and impact we deliver for clients, everywhere. I’m proud to be leading this extraordinary team into its next chapter.”
The Collective is a strategic experience design and production agency within BCD Meetings & Events, with more than 230 specialists across the UK, Germany and North America. Its services span strategy, creative, communications, content, production, delegate management, data analytics and measurement.
