Paul Martins has been appointed as the new chair of Westminster Venue Collection.
Martins,
who also heads up new business development at Make Venues, has assumed the role
with the Westminster Venue Collection to ‘drive its fresh strategy and vision
for growth.’
On
his appointment, Martins said: "I am proud to become chair of the
Westminster Venue Collection, following a year that included a fresh strategy
and vision for growth. Our 40 per cent expansion, which includes world-renowned
venues such as Abbey Road Studios and The Hippodrome Casino allows further
investment in our digital marketing and showcase capabilities.
“This
will enhance the event booking experiences for organisers and deliver returns
for our members. The quality and volume of lead generation, the high level of
revenue conversions and the ever-increasing platform, mean that as a marketing
collective, the WVC delivers significant value to clients and venue members.”
Martins
thanks his fellow Westminster Venue Collection board members for their support,
including Barbara L Wutte, Kay Davies, Clare Brace, Rhiannon Thomas, Marina
Papadopoulou, Jonathan Chohan, and James Bogle.
